Calculations and data

How to read results, participation and standings in sr-stats.

sr-stats makes results and standings easier to browse and compare. The app does not determine official results, points or standings: those come from Survivalrun Bond Nederland. Read Data and freshness about the source and changes to the data.

What a result shows

A result row belongs to one athlete, one race and one category. The number of result rows therefore does not automatically equal the number of unique athletes or races.

The app can show a position, time, points and the outcome of a start for a result. A numeric position represents a finish. DNS and AFM mean that someone did not start or withdrew; DNF and DSK are shown as not finished. Not every result contains all of these details.

Points are displayed in the app with two decimal places. sr-stats does not calculate these points itself.

How to compare a standing

A standing belongs to a season, category and gender. Compare a rank only within that same combination. The default selection is the newest season for which a standing is available.

The federation determines which races and points count towards an official standing. When the app shows the number of counting and processed races for a standing, that information belongs to the selected combination of season, category and gender.

What the beta already shows

In the active beta, results by race and category and standings by season, category and gender are available. Where a veterans standing is available, the veterans filters show a separate veterans rank alongside the regular standing.

The beta is a test environment. Data and the way it is presented can change when the source changes or as the app is developed further.

What sr-stats does not determine

sr-stats does not confirm a finish or alter an official result or standing. A start list is not evidence of a finish either. Survivalrun Bond Nederland remains the source for the official meaning of a result, points or standing.
