Data and freshness

Where the data comes from and how to read changes.

The sporting data in sr-stats comes from Survivalrun Bond Nederland. sr-stats imports that data and presents it in the app, but does not determine official results, points or standings. To understand what you see in a result or standing, read Calculations.

The source and the import

An import brings available data from the source into sr-stats. It runs twice a day, and on race days results are also checked more often. The source can also report a change itself. If Survivalrun Bond Nederland changes, adds to or finalises a result, the corresponding overview in sr-stats can change later as well. We do not promise a fixed response time or real-time freshness. How this works is explained on the sync server page.

The status of a result

The app can show a status for a race with results.

  • Provisional means that the result can still change.
  • Final means that the source has marked the result as final.
  • Upcoming means that no result is available yet.

A start list is different from a result. It can be available before a race has taken place and is not evidence that someone finished.

What is available now

The active beta shows races, available start lists, results and standings. The status on a result helps you read its current state. A change in the source can therefore also change an earlier overview.

The beta is a test environment. The available data and this guidance can change while sr-stats is developed further.

What to expect

Right now, results are updated about every half hour. That is an indication, not a guarantee: how soon a result appears also depends on when the source publishes it.

What is planned

Updating faster may become possible in the future. This page does not give a date or a promised refresh time.
